We now have a new Metallux Product Overview Guide in an easy-to-read table.
The transducers are designed so that the pressure sensitive part is exposed directly to the chemical media to be measured. Thanks to the very good chemical resistance, the ceramic materials used do normally not require any additional protection. The ruggedness of the transducers allows mounting in any specific housing of the customer. The different series of transducers are calibrated as regards their zero point, coefficient of thermal expansion and sensitivity so that they can be used in wide ranges of temperatures as extra high precision transducers.
- Monolithic One-piece Sensors
The low cost version of the sensors in the range of 2...400 bar is available in a monolithic design with the ME651. The ME657 is a very small (diameter 12.85 mm, thickness 5.0 mm) monolithic type. It is also available in a packaged version, specially designed to be used in diving equipment (350 bar).
- Ceramic Pressure Sensors
The thick film technology not only offers proven long term stability and high quality, but also favorable prices. The transducers are available in standard version for pressure range 1...50 bar (ME501) and >100...400 bar (ME505) either as absolute pressure or relative pressure transducers (sealed gage is available also). A low pressure version in the range of 0.3 to 1 bar is available with the ME509 series.
- Pre-amplified Ceramic Pressure Sensors
The latest cells are the ME705 and ME707, that have a pre-amplified ratiometric voltage output.
- Capacitive Ceramic Pressure Sensors
The ME704 is a new capacitive ceramic pressure cell including a signal conditioning circuitry.
