DESCRIPTION

The SM5430/SM5470 series pressure sensors are surface-mountable Dual-in-line packages (SOIC-16) designed for a broad range of high volume, OEM manufactures of various consumer, automotive, medical, and industrial products. The SM5430 is for 0 - 5 PSI to 0 - 100 PSI applications and comes in gauge, differential and absolute configurations. The device is uncompensated, meaning that the sensor output is directly from the silicon sensor chip, allowing customers to embed low cost pressure sensors into their own circuitry. The SM5102 die is used in the SM5430.

The SM5470 series sensor is for low pressure applications from 0 - 0.15 PSI to 0 - 3.0 PSI and comes in gauge and differential configurations. The SM5470 uses the SM5103 die for sensing the low pressures.

Performance specifications for the SM5430 are comparable to the SM5410 product; the performance of the SM5470 is comaparable to that of the SM5450. A number of pressure port configurations are available for this package.
