DESCRIPTION

The SM5822 Series pressure sensor combines state-of-the-art pressure sensor technology with CMOS mixed signal processing technology to create an amplified, fully-calibrated, conditioned, multi-order pressure and temperature-compensated sensor in a small SO16 plastic package.

The monolithically-integrated pressure sensor witha  dedicated custom signal conditioning ASIC combined ona  single die minimizes the size and amplifies the use of advanced silicon micro-machined pressure sensors. The pressure sensor can be mounted directly to a standard printed circuit board and an amplified, high-level, calibrated pressure signal can be acquired from the digital interface or analog output. This eliminates the need for additional circuity such as a compensation network. An evaluation kit is available.

There are 2 pressure ranges available, 0-15 psi (103 kPa) and 0-60 psi (414 kPa).
