Ceramic pressure sensors and transducers from Metallux are ideal for applications where exposure to harsh or liquid media occurs. These sensors come in either compensated or uncompensated models. Monolithic, flush-mount and preamplified versions provide you with flexibility in your design. Various pressure ranges are available.

With excellent chemical resistance, the ceramic materials used do normally not require any additional protection.These rugged transducers can be mounted in customer-specific housing and withstand high overpressure.

A ceramic base plate working as a flush diaphragm using the piezoresistive principle composes the Metallux differential pressure sensors. The Wheatstone bridge is screen-printed on one side of the base plate, which is then glued to a ceramic ring to allow proper diaphragm flexing. A special coating protects the bridge, which can therefore be exposed directly to the medium being measured.
